Saturday i went to check out the Stanford vs Washington game. I think it was easy game for Stanford. It was nice day but around half time it started raining lightly on and off. Stanford won 34 to 14. It was the homecoming for Stanford and they had i think 50th reunion. not sure tho. Lots of people . Cheerleaders  from past years for example 1971. It was definitely interesting show.

Last week i spent nice day in San Francisco just walking and looking around. It was perfect day for searching and developing my ideas and creativity.
Found many streets with really interesting pieces of designs. I also checked out some of the SF galleries. Over all good day, came home with lots of sketches and ideas for paintings and some for sculptures cant wait to start on them, but first i need to finish my work on life-size sculpture of water polo player. Customer have not decided whether he want it in bronze or  aluminum. I guess will see ill post some pictures from process later on.

Finally i had a  little time to finish one painting today.  Cuople more things plus signature and here we go.
And now lets concentrate on the rest. Cant wait to get them all done and start new ones. I just love the process of finishing and starting again.

It is time to get back to work.

Working on new series of paintings which will reflect different meaning, but they will have a lot in common.  I finished 5 and had little time off to get some other stuff done but now its time to get back. It is nice cold/rainy day which is perfect to just sit in studio and work. Here are couple of the paintings and much more to come.

Skateboard Palette

This is one of the ways you can use old skateboards. When you have too many of them you can use them as palettes and it works great.  I love it. :)

Finishing pieces before work.

New ideas for today: So I finally finished two of my paintings. We will see if I will add anything to them over time.  Now back to work.  Maybe my work will give me some kind of inspiration for some new pieces.

Time to show.

After a long time of thinking and getting my life organized i finally decided to show off some of my artwork and get some feedback from you guys.

A little bit about me: I am an artist from Eastern Slovakia now living in Northern California in the bay area.  I have been painting for many years.  I also do sculptures from stone and other materials as well as work with other media.  I finished art school in Slovakia with a major in stone sculpting and stone masonry.  For my paintings I mostly use acrylic paint and many times I paint the same picture over and over until I get what my mind desires.  Since I am new here in the bay area I am trying to get into some galleries and see where it goes.  Art is my passion, along with water polo.  It is actually funny how for the most part art is this gentle part of your mind, while water polo is an aggressive sport with full body contact. For anyone who is interested in any of the paintings, I will answer any questions or requests.
